Below are key terms that must be agreed between the Client and Amy Blackwood Photography prior to any shoot date.
Exclusive Photographer (portrait only). No other Photographer (amateur of professional) shall be allowed to photograph at the session due to the reasons of the photographer delivering the expected quality of images.
Ownership of Digital Files. The Client may use digital files to print, email and use online as they please but must under no circumstances use the images for commercial or profit making purposes. Under Copyright laws the Photographer has automatic copyright of all images.
Display and Promotion. The Client may display the images where they please but must under no circumstances use the images for commercial or profit making purposes. The Photographer may display and use images from the session for promotional and advertising purposes. This includes but is not limited to www.amyblackwoodphotography.com and the amy blackwood photography facebook page.
Limit of Liability. The Client will receive a full refund of the session price if there is failure to deliver images. This failure includes both that within the control of the Photographer and that caused by force or any similar circumstance, illness, accident or hazard. The liability will not exceed the session price.
Delivery. The Photographer agrees to deliver the contracted order within a reasonable timeframe from the session date and as agreed by both parties. This timeframe is typically 2-3 weeks. The online gallery will be available to view for one month. If the Client requests that the gallery be re-uploaded after the expiry date, Amy Blackwood Photography will upload for a further one week and a fee of £20 may apply.
Cancellation. In the event that the Client must cancel the session, an alternative date will be agreed. If the Client does not wish to reschedule the session, the Photographer will refund any deposit paid if the session date is more than 2 weeks from the cancellation date.
Cancellation of ‘Mini Shoots’. Mini shoots will NOT be cancelled unless the weather is very wet on that day to the extent that a shoot would not be possible. If the Client wishes to cancel a mini shoot session for any other reason, the Photographer will refund any deposit paid if the mini shoot date is more than 2 weeks from the cancellation date.
Parent consent. A parent or legal guardian must give permission to Amy Blackwood Photography to photograph the children attending the session and agree that images may be displayed as mentioned above in ‘display and promotion’
