I met Claire a few years ago and was ‘room mates’ with her on a trip to Barcelona.. Little did I know that a few years later I’d be photographing her wedding! Claire and Russell got married in a beautiful part of Derbyshire in an area called Matlock. For those of you who know it, you’ll know how pretty it is. With beautiful sunny days either side.. typical that it was a very rainy day on their actual wedding. But it did not dampen things… Claire looked gorgeous as always and the happy couple were in fact lucky to have some rain-free time for their couple shots in the lovely Hassop Hall gardens. It was a long day for me, from getting ready to the evenings dancing, but I enjoyed every minute. It also gave me the opportunity to visit a stunning part of the country I hadn’t been to before.

My blog has been a bit quiet in recent weeks – a mix of computer being re-built and being super busy. So.. and as it’s Claire.. here is an extra long posting. I wish Claire and Russell all the very best for their future and look forward to hopefully seeing them again soon.
